Terms for using HeritageAI
Last updated: July 2026
The service
HeritageAI generates AI-assisted heritage planning documents, including Preliminary Planning and Heritage Appraisals (PPHA), Statements of Heritage Significance, and Heritage Impact Assessments. Outputs are drafted against the current National Planning Policy Framework and Historic England guidance.
Professional review required
All outputs are drafts intended to be reviewed by a qualified professional before submission to a local planning authority. HeritageAI is not a regulated architectural practice, and use of the service does not create an architect–client relationship. HeritageAI is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of your submission unless you engage the full submission service.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that the information you provide about a property and proposed works is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the right to share any documents or photographs you upload.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoAnythingNow Ltd is not liable for planning decisions, consent refusals, or losses arising from reliance on AI-generated draft content that has not been professionally reviewed.
